Diaphragm Valve Backing Flange EPDM

PROGEF Standard PP, from Georg Fischer, is manufactured from a polypropylene homopolymer and has been shown to offer excellent resistance against stress fracture, impact, abrasion and chemicals and is therefore suited for use in industrial applications where chemical production and distribution is required.

This diaphragm valve uses a central union nut instead of the commonly used four metal screws, meaning there is a non-corrosive connection allowing for even surface pressure and a pressure rating up to 16 bar.

They allow for flow in either direction irrespective of installation position, have backing flange ends with flat/serrated sealing faces, EPDM gasket seals, a lockable handwheel with a two-colour indicator and they offer excellent resistance to corrosion.
