How and Where to Install a 90 Degree Plumbing Elbow
Installing the Fernco Plumbing Elbow 90 involves:
Pipe Preparation: Ensure the pipe ends where the elbow will be fitted are clean and free from debris.
Aligning the Elbow: Slide the elbow over one end of the pipe, aligning it for the desired direction change.
Connecting the Second Pipe: Insert the second pipe into the other end of the elbow, ensuring it fits snugly.
Securing the Connection: Tighten the stainless steel clamp bands using a nut driver or flat-head screwdriver to the recommended torque of 6Nm.
Checking the Installation: After securing, inspect the elbow to ensure a tight and leak-free connection at the right angle.
