PVC Economy 2-Way Ball Valve Threaded

Double union ball valves are designed to allow complete removal of the valve body from a pipeline, making them ideal for applications where refurbishment, maintenance or replacement may be required. With union connections on both sides, the valve can be demounted without cutting or disturbing the surrounding pipework. Manufactured from PVCu, these valves provide good chemical resistance and durability across a wide range of industrial and commercial fluid handling applications. The threaded union ends allow straightforward connection to compatible threaded pipework and fittings, offering flexibility during installation and maintenance.

A key feature of this valve is the locking end, which enables adjustment of the torque applied to the internal ball to suit operating pressure. Prior to installation, the locking end should always be checked and tightened if necessary, as insufficient torque can result in leakage. For added convenience, the valve handle can be removed and used as a spanner to tighten the locking end during assembly or adjustment. The ergonomically designed teardrop handle provides a secure grip and smooth operation, with a clear visual indication of valve position. As part of the economy range, these valves are batch tested on a 1 in 1000 basis, offering a cost-effective solution where full individual testing is not essential.
