Description
The Durapipe DK diaphragm valve is a high-performance isolation and control valve designed for use in corrosive, hygienic and chemically aggressive environments. Manufactured from PVCu and developed in partnership with FIP, the DK valve combines robust construction with precise flow control and long service life.
The valve is operated via a maintenance-free handwheel actuator, complete with a spindle extension that provides a clear visual indication of the valve’s open or closed position. The body retaining bolts are fixed from the underside, creating a smooth, crevice-free external surface that prevents debris accumulation and reduces the risk of corrosion caused by chemical spillage or wash-down processes.
Internally, the diaphragm design completely isolates the operating mechanism from the process fluid, delivering reliable shut-off and excellent chemical resistance. Valves are hydrostatically pressure tested in accordance with BS, ISO and DIN standards to ensure sealing integrity and performance.
