Description
This green welding PVC strip curtain from Copely is specifically developed for use in welding bays and fabrication areas where protection from welding sparks is essential. Designed to meet EN 1598 and conform to EN ISO 25980:2014, these strips provide a safer working environment while maintaining flexibility and ease of access.
Manufactured from high-quality PVC, the strips are abrasion and chemical resistant, UV stabilised and fully REACH compliant. They are suitable for operating temperatures from -15°C to +50°C, making them well suited to demanding industrial environments. In addition to spark resistance, the strips act as an effective barrier against dust, fumes and airborne debris, while also contributing to thermal insulation and sound reduction within the workspace.
Each strip is supplied ready to hang with a fitted stainless steel hanging plate, allowing for quick installation. If strips are supplied longer than required, they can be trimmed onsite to the correct length. Should a strip become damaged over time, it can be replaced individually without removing the entire curtain, helping to minimise downtime and maintenance costs.
If these strips are being installed for the first time, a compatible hanging rail is required to mount and support the curtains. Where a hanging rail is already installed, the strips can be fitted directly without the need for additional components.
