Description
The Georg Fischer Type 546 Pro PVC-U 2-way ball valve is a high-quality isolation valve designed for reliable operation in industrial and commercial pipework systems. Featuring a robust PVC-U body and precision-engineered internals, it delivers smooth operation, consistent sealing and long-term durability under demanding conditions. Supplied with EPDM body seals and PTFE ball seals, the valve offers excellent chemical resistance and low operating torque. The plain female solvent-weld ends allow secure integration into PVC-U pipework using solvent cement, creating strong and permanent joints. With a PN16 pressure rating and an operating temperature range of 5°C to 60°C, the valve is well-suited to a wide range of fluid handling applications.
The 546 Pro design incorporates integrated stainless steel mounting inserts, making it fully prepared for manual or automated operation. A lockable lever is supplied as standard for improved operational safety, while the valve body dimensions, end connections and union nuts remain compatible with first-generation Type 546 valves, allowing straightforward upgrades or replacements within existing installations.
