Check Valve Spring Plain Metric

This PVCu spring check valve is designed to provide fast, reliable backflow prevention in pipework systems carrying clean, non-viscous fluids. Using a stainless steel spring-loaded obturator, the valve closes automatically as soon as forward flow stops, ensuring precise shut-off and quiet operation even in low-pressure conditions.

Manufactured from unplasticised PVC, the valve offers excellent resistance to corrosion and chemical attack while remaining lightweight and durable. EPDM seals are supplied as standard, delivering dependable sealing performance across the full operating temperature range. Unlike ball check valves, the spring-assisted design allows installation in both horizontal and vertical pipe runs, offering greater flexibility during system design.

Plain union ends allow the valve to be solvent-welded directly into PVCu pipework, creating a strong, permanent joint using a quick and cost-effective installation method. The internal design is optimised for smooth flow and reduced pressure loss, making the valve suitable for applications where controlled, responsive non-return protection is required.
