Description
The DP ABS Pressure Loading / Relief Valve from Durapipe is a multifunctional control valve designed to manage both back pressure creation and overpressure protection within ABS pipework systems. By combining pressure loading and pressure relief into a single valve body, it offers a compact and efficient solution for system control.
The pressure loading function allows a controlled back pressure of up to 3 bar to be maintained within the pipeline, supporting stable system operation where a minimum pressure is required. At the same time, the adjustable pressure relief mechanism provides protection by releasing excess pressure once system limits are exceeded, with settings available up to 10 bar.
Manufactured from durable ABS and fitted with EPDM seals, the valve delivers excellent chemical resistance, impact strength and reliability, even in low-temperature environments. Clear, permanently attached labels on the valve body indicate correct installation orientation, making setup straightforward and reducing the risk of incorrect fitting.
Supplied with plain union connections, the valve can be easily installed and removed for adjustment or maintenance. ABS solvent cement and cleaner should be used to create secure, leak-free joints when connecting to ABS pipework.
