The ABS Metric Stub Flange is designed to create a secure, demountable flanged joint within metric ABS pipework systems. Manufactured from high-quality SuperFLO ABS, this stub flange provides a lightweight, corrosion-resistant alternative to metal flanged connections while maintaining excellent mechanical strength and long-term reliability.

The stub flange features a plain serrated face, ensuring effective sealing when used with a suitable gasket and backing rings. The socket end is solvent welded directly onto the ABS pipe using ABS solvent cement and cleaner, forming a strong and permanent bond. Once installed, the stub flange is used in conjunction with a backing ring, gasket, and bolting set to form a full flanged joint.

Stub flanges are commonly used where pipework may need to be dismantled for maintenance, inspection or system modification, making them ideal for use with valves, pumps, tanks and flanged equipment.
