Description
The Backing Ring ANSI Class 150 is designed to provide robust mechanical reinforcement for ABS metric flanged joints that require ANSI Class 150 bolt patterns. Manufactured from galvanised steel, this backing ring delivers the strength and rigidity needed to support ABS stub flanges in demountable pipework connections.
When used alongside an ABS metric stub flange and gasket, the backing ring ensures even compression across the flange face, helping to maintain a secure and leak-free joint while preventing deformation of the ABS component during bolt tightening.
Drilled to ANSI Class 150, this backing ring is ideal for installations where pipework must interface with ANSI-flanged equipment, valves or systems, making it a practical solution for international or mixed-standard installations.
