• Chemical resistance: Good resistance to diluted inorganic acids, salts, oils, fats and organic acids; unsuitable for petrol, alcohol, organic solvents or vegetable oils

This ABS backing ring flange set offers a complete solution for assembling a secure flanged joint between two ABS pipe sections. Each pack includes two ABS stub flanges, two galvanised backing rings, a matching gasket and the appropriate BZP bolt set, ensuring all components required for a face-to-face flange connection are supplied together. The ABS stub flanges are solvent welded to the pipe ends, while the steel backing rings provide the strength needed for bolting the assembly together.

Designed exclusively for direct flange-to-flange installation, the included bolts are not long enough to accommodate valves or other inline components. If extended bolt lengths or mixed-standard (inch to metric) sets are required, tailored support is available.
