The ABS Metric Plain Reducing Socket is designed to provide a secure transition between two different metric pipe sizes within an ABS pipework system. Manufactured from high-quality acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (ABS), this fitting offers excellent strength, impact resistance and long-term durability in pressurised installations.

Available in reducing sizes from 20 × 16 mm up to 200 × 160 mm, the socket allows straightforward downsizing or upsizing of pipe runs without introducing unnecessary complexity. Both ends are plain sockets and are solvent welded to the pipe using ABS solvent cement and cleaner, creating a permanent, leak-free joint.
