The ABS Metric Composite Union Plain F x Thread M Brass fitting is designed to provide a secure and serviceable transition between metric ABS pipework and BSP female threaded components. Featuring a solvent-weld ABS socket on one side and a male BSP brass thread on the other, this composite union allows pipe systems to be connected, disconnected and maintained with ease.

The fitting incorporates a DZR brass threaded insert and retaining nut, manufactured to BS 2872 and WRAS approved, offering excellent resistance to dezincification and corrosion in potable water and industrial environments. An EPDM rubber seal ensures a reliable, leak-tight seal at the union face.

The plain ABS socket is solvent welded into metric ABS pipe using ABS solvent cement and cleaner, while the male BSP thread connects directly into a female threaded fitting. For best performance, PTFE tape should be used on all threaded joints.
