Description

The ABS Metric x Imperial Adaptor Plain F x Thread M fitting is designed to provide a secure transition between metric ABS pipework and imperial threaded components. Featuring a plain metric socket on one end and a male BSP thread on the other, this adaptor allows ABS systems to be connected easily to threaded valves, fittings or equipment.

Manufactured from high-quality ABS, the plain socket end is solvent welded to metric ABS pipe using ABS solvent cement and cleaner, creating a strong and permanent joint. The male BSP thread enables straightforward connection to female threaded fittings, with the use of PTFE tape recommended to ensure a leak-tight seal.

This adaptor is ideal for use in mixed pipework installations, system modifications or upgrades where metric ABS pipe must interface with imperial threaded equipment.
