Description
This reducer transitions between pipe diameters while maintaining the invert level, helping preserve hydraulic gradient and avoid unwanted steps where debris could collect. It’s widely used when connecting to downstream components with a smaller bore, or when adapting to legacy networks during refurbishment. Push-fit ring-seal jointing enables fast, watertight installation and clean disassembly if alignment adjustments are needed during commissioning.
Manufactured from rigid, corrosion-resistant PVCu in terracotta colouring, the reducer integrates with standard underground systems used across UK housing and light commercial projects. Suitable for correctly configured foul and surface water layouts, and compatible with installations to BS EN 1401 and BS 4660:2000 (where applicable), it provides a dependable, low-maintenance size transition with good hydraulic continuity.
