Description
The PP Socket Plain x Thread fitting is designed to provide a reliable transition between polypropylene pipework and threaded components within a PPb system. Featuring one plain socket end for socket fusion welding and one BSP threaded end, this fitting allows seamless connection to valves, fittings or equipment with a threaded outlet.
Manufactured from high-quality polypropylene block copolymer (PP-B) to BS 4991 : 1974, it offers excellent chemical resistance, mechanical strength and long-term durability. The socket fusion end creates a strong, permanent joint with PPb pipe, while the threaded end enables easy connection to threaded pipework or accessories.
This combination fitting is widely used in industrial pipe systems where flexibility, corrosion resistance and compatibility with mixed connection types are required.
