Description
The PP Electro-Fusion Long Stub Flange is designed to create a reliable flanged connection between polypropylene pipework and valves, fittings, tanks or other flanged equipment. By combining electrofusion jointing with a stub flange interface, it delivers both the strength of a welded joint and the flexibility of a demountable flange connection.
Sizes up to 110mm are manufactured from polypropylene homopolymer (PP-H), while sizes from 125mm and above use polypropylene random copolymer (PP-R) to maintain mechanical performance at larger diameters. The integrated electrofusion heating element melts both the fitting and pipe wall during installation, producing a homogeneous, pressure-resistant joint once cooled.
A profiled fitting body helps distribute mechanical loads evenly, reducing stress at the joint and improving long-term reliability in demanding installations.
