Description
The PP Elbow 45 is a plain polypropylene fitting used to join two lengths of PPb pipe of the same diameter while introducing a gentle 45° change in direction. Manufactured in accordance with BS 4991 : 1974, it is designed for use in industrial polypropylene pipework systems where controlled flow direction and chemical resistance are essential.
Featuring plain socket ends, this fitting is installed using socket fusion welding to create a strong, permanent and leak-free joint. The smoother change in direction compared to a 90° elbow helps reduce turbulence and pressure loss, making it particularly suitable for flow-sensitive applications.
Lightweight yet robust, the PP 45° elbow provides long-term reliability in demanding environments where metal alternatives may be unsuitable.
Key Features & Benefits
