Description
The PP Socket is a plain polypropylene fitting designed to join two lengths of PPb pipe with the same outside diameter. Manufactured in accordance with BS 4991 : 1974, this fitting provides a simple, reliable and chemically resistant solution for creating straight pipe runs in industrial polypropylene pipework systems.
Designed for socket fusion welding, the PP socket creates a strong, homogenous joint once fused to the pipe, ensuring excellent integrity and long-term performance. Its smooth internal bore helps maintain consistent flow characteristics, minimising pressure loss through the joint.
Thanks to the inherent properties of polypropylene, these sockets are lightweight, corrosion-resistant and well suited to demanding chemical and process environments.
