Description
This double union ball valve is designed to be removed easily from a pipeline, making it well-suited to installations where servicing or future replacement may be required. The twin union connections allow the valve to be separated from the system without cutting pipework or disrupting adjacent components. Constructed from PVCu, the valve offers a durable and corrosion-resistant solution for a wide range of industrial and commercial applications. EPDM seals are supplied as standard (FPM replacements are available), providing dependable sealing performance when operating within normal system conditions. Threaded union ends allow the valve to be connected directly to compatible threaded pipework, offering flexibility during both installation and ongoing maintenance.
The valve incorporates a locking end that allows the internal ball pressure to be adjusted to suit system operating pressure. Before installation, the locking end should be checked and tightened as necessary, as insufficient adjustment may result in leakage. For added practicality, the handle can be removed and used as a spanner to tighten the locking end. A teardrop-shaped handle provides a secure grip and smooth, controlled operation, while also offering a clear indication of the valve’s open or closed position.
