Description
The Geberit Mapress Copper Stub Flange PN 10/16 is designed to provide a reliable and secure connection between copper piping systems and loose flanges, in accordance with EN 1092-1, flange type 02. This stub flange is suitable for a wide range of applications, including potable water installations and both open and closed heating and cooling circuits. With press-fit technology, the flange ensures fast, clean, and safe installations without the need for hot works like welding or soldering.
Key Features
High-Quality Copper Material: Made from Cu-DHP copper CW024A (EN 1412), this stub flange provides excellent corrosion resistance and long-term durability in a variety of applications, including potable water systems and industrial circuits.
Compatibility with Loose Flanges: The stub flange is designed for use with loose flanges, in compliance with EN 1092-1, flange type 02, ensuring a secure and standardised connection to other components in the piping system.
No Hot Works Required: The press-fit technology eliminates the need for welding or soldering, making installations quicker, safer, and more cost-effective, particularly in environments where hot works are restricted.
Clean and Safe Installation: The Geberit Mapress system is designed to ensure a clean installation process, with protective elements to keep the seal rings free from dirt until final assembly. Additionally, it eliminates the risk of fire hazards due to its no-welding, no-soldering approach.
Universal Application: Suitable for both surface-mounted and concealed installations, the stub flange can be used in various systems, including potable water, heating, and cooling, making it a versatile choice for both residential and industrial projects.
Colour Coding: Clear colour-coded indicators help distinguish between different materials and components, reducing the likelihood of errors or confusion during installation.

(1) Usable negative pressure for Geberit piping systems: The usable negative pressure results from the air pressure at the installation site minus the absolute pressure of 200 mbar. Example: 980 mbar air pressure - 200 mbar absolute pressure = 780 mbar usable negative pressure in the piping system
(2) Usable negative pressure for Geberit piping systems: The usable negative pressure is calculated on the basis of the air pressure at the place of installation minus the absolute pressure of 200 mbar. Example: 980 mbar air pressure - 200 mbar absolute pressure = 780 mbar usable negative pressure in the piping system
(3) Lifetime with collector standstill: 200 h/a at 180 °C; 60 h/a at 200 °C; total 500 h/lifetime at 220 °C
(4) Use of inhibitors, corrosion-protection agents, antifreeze agents only after approval by Geberit
(5) 10 bar / 1000 kPa for MasterFix and MeplaFix
(6) Approved up to d54 mm
(7) Following Geberit approval
(8) Oil purity class in accordance with ISO 8573-1:2010E; for details on moisture and particles, see technical information "Geberit Piping Systems for Compressed Air Installations"
(9) Not for fittings with EPDM, black seal rings
