Description
The PP Bend 90 is a plain polypropylene fitting designed to join two lengths of PP pipe of the same diameter while introducing a 90° change in direction. Manufactured in accordance with BS 4991 : 1974, it is intended for use in industrial polypropylene pipework systems where durability, chemical resistance and long service life are essential.
Unlike sharp elbows, a 90° bend provides a smoother internal radius, helping to reduce turbulence and pressure loss within the pipeline. The plain socket ends are installed using socket fusion welding, creating a strong, homogeneous joint that is resistant to leaks and mechanical stress.
Lightweight, corrosion resistant and easy to install, this PP bend is well suited to demanding industrial environments where metal fittings may be unsuitable.
