The PP Electro-Fusion Long Coupling is designed to create a secure, homogenous joint between polypropylene pipe sections using the electrofusion welding process. Manufactured from high-quality polypropylene random copolymer (PP-R), this fitting provides excellent impact resistance, chemical durability and long-term reliability in demanding installations.

The coupling incorporates an integrated electric heating element within the fitting body. When the specified voltage is applied, the heating coils melt both the internal surface of the fitting and the external pipe wall, fusing them together to form a strong, leak-free joint. The profiled body design helps distribute stresses evenly across the weld zone, improving joint integrity and service life.

Electrofusion is widely regarded as one of the most effective methods of joining polypropylene pipework, offering consistent weld quality and reduced reliance on installer technique compared with some alternative joining methods.
