Valves manufactured from Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene are suitable for the conveyance of potable water, slurries and chemicals. ABS valves are very suitable for chilled water applications, due to the low temperature properties of Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene. ABS valves are also suitable for use in compressed airline systems. ABS valves have an operating temperature range of -40°C to 70°C. The ABS valves are assembled by either solvent cement joints, known as plain or by BSP threads. The ABS pipe fittings have the following standards and approvals, WRAS WRc approved Water Regulations Advisory Scheme, BSi KITEMARKED product valve ends, Complies with BS 5391 pipe and BS 5392 pipe fitting.
