Description
The PPb Pipe Class D - 12 Bar is a high-performance polypropylene pressure pipe engineered for demanding industrial environments where elevated operating pressures are required. Manufactured from natural polypropylene block copolymer (PP-B), this pipe combines strength, toughness and chemical resistance, making it suitable for a wide range of aggressive and high-temperature process fluids.
Produced in accordance with BS 4991 : 1974, Class D PPb pipe is commonly specified for critical pressure systems where reliability and long service life are essential. The smooth internal bore promotes efficient flow characteristics, helping to minimise pressure losses and reduce the risk of internal build-up over time.
Thanks to the inherent ductility of polypropylene block copolymer, the pipe is able to tolerate minor movement, vibration and thermal expansion without cracking. As with all polypropylene pressure pipes, this product must not be used for compressed air or gas applications.
