Useful Info:
These straight reducers are used for the connection of a piece of pipe to a fitting of different diameters.
The push-in end of the fitting works simply by loosening the nut slightly, inserting the pipe complete with pipe insert and then tightening the nut to lock the pipe in place. To demount the components, ensure that the system has been depressurized, loosen the nut at the end you wish to remove and push the collet towards the body of the fitting, pulling the pipe to release.
This push-in technology is designed for use with multiple applications including hot and cold plumbing as well as central heating.
Suitable for use with Polyethylene (PEX), Polybutylene (PB) and Copper pipe systems.
Not for use with gas, fuel, oil or compressed air applications.
