Description

The MDPE Push Fit Universal x Universal Coupling is a versatile mechanical fitting designed to connect a wide range of pipe materials including lead, copper, MDPE, PVC, alkathene, galvanised iron, steel, PEX, ABS, and PP-R. Ideal for pipe repair applications, this slide n’ seal coupling is designed to bridge gaps or damaged pipework with ease. The fitting slides freely over the pipe without resistance and is clamped securely in place by tightening the end nuts. As system pressure increases, the O-ring compression also increases, ensuring a strong and leak-tight seal. KIWA approved for potable water systems.

Key Features & Benefits

  • Truly Universal Compatibility: Connects an extensive range of pipe types and materials for repairs or transitions.
  • Slide n’ Seal Design: Easily slides over pipe with no insertion force—perfect for bridging damaged sections.
  • Secure Compression Seal: Nut-tightening compresses the seal; compression improves automatically with system pressure.
  • Ideal for Repairs and Gap Bridging: Particularly suited to emergency repairs or section replacements in confined spaces.
  • Tool-Assisted Installation: Tighten end nuts using a standard Plasson wrench or similar for a strong mechanical grip.
  • Durable Construction: UV-stabilised polypropylene ensures corrosion resistance and long-term durability.
  • Kiwa Approved: Certified for use in potable water applications, meeting international quality standards.
