Information about brass Bib Tap Features and Sizing
There are two types of brass Bib Tap an Economy model, manufactured and conform to BS1010 and an Enhanced one with a Built-In Automatic Check Valve, manufactured and conforms to BS6862.
Sizing information is as follows:
The ½” Bib Taps have a ½” BSP back thread to connect to the wall plate and a ¾” BSP thread where the hose barb is screwed onto. If you want to buy a Hozelock connector for the ½” Bib Taps click on the following link. Hozelock Bib Tap Connector, it’s the H2041.
The ¾” Bib Taps have a ¾” BSP back thread to connect to the wall plate and some crazy thread on the barb connection. We have looked all over the world for a ¾” Bib Tap with a 1” screwed barb connection but cannot find one.
We also have in stock the HOZELOCK Hose Pipe and Water Sprayers. All available for delivery overnight.
