ABS Ball Valves +GF+ George Fischer
+GF+ George Fischer Type 546 ABS Double Union Ball Valves have two union ends so that the valve can be demounted from a pipeline for refurbishment or repair. The valve nut's buttress thread design, specifically selected for its high performance characteristics, offers robust construction and provides a stronger connection to piping systems for added safety. The short overall length, more than 9% shorter than the previous generation Type 346 Valve, allows for design of more compact systems for space-saving economies in plant construction. The valves are available as ABS Double Union Ball Valves with plain ends for solvent cement gluing in imperial and metric sizes. We also stock BSP threaded ABS Double Union Ball Valves. EPDM seals come as standard FPM Viton Seals are available by request at an extra cost.
